The Goring and Streatley Young Musicians Trust was set up by a group of people who share a common passion and belief that there should be no financial barriers to children being able to experience the joys and benefits of making music.

Our income levels do not currently meet the threshold to be included on the register of charities however our key details governance details are as follows:

  • Activities: To promote, improve, develop, maintain and advance education, skills, appreciation and participation in the art and science of music for young people in the communities of Goring and Streatley and the surrounding areas

  • Governing document: Established by execution of deed of trust on 3rd February 2024 based on the UK Charity Commission's standard model trust deed.  Application to become a registered charity submitted in July 2024.

  • Trustees: Paul Gillion, Ruth Jolly, Claire Salmon, David Salmon

  • Finance: Target income of at least £2,500 each year
